Dr Tiina Pakosta
Born in 1964 in Tallinn, Estonia. Graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at Tartu University in 1988.
Specialized in eye diseases at the Eye Clinic of the East-Tallinn Central Hospital. Further studies at the Eye Department and Eye Centre of the Sahlgrenska Hospital in
Göteborg, the Children‘s Eye Department of the Östra Hospital in Sweden and Helsinki Vision Centre in Finland.
1990 to 2004 doctor at the Eye Clinic of the East-Tallinn Central Hospital.
Since 1995 consultant ophthalmologist at the Department of Neonatology of Tallinn Children’s Hospital, dealing with retinopathy of prematurity. Since 1995 private praxis at the Low Vision Clinic and the Eye Centre Laservisioon.
Since 2001 competence of excimer surgery. Participated in different international workshops and conferences in Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Germany,
Great Britain, Belgium, the Netherlands, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Russia, India and USA.
Dr Tiia Jugaste
Born in 1960 in Tartu, Estonia.
Graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at Tartu University in 1984. Specialized in eye diseases at the Eye Department
of Tartu Clinical Hospital. Further studies at the Eye Clinic of the Helsinki University, at the Moordfield Eye Clinic and Hammersmith Hospital in London, in Antverpen and St Petersburg.
Participated in many international workshops and conferences in Europe, Japan and America.
Work experience: the Eye Department of the Tartu Clinical Hospital, the Eye Department of Savonlinna Central Hospital,
The Mustamäe Clinic of Nõmme Hospital, Magdalena Hospital, the Eye Clinic of the East-Tallinn Central Hospital.
Specialized in glaucoma, retinal disorders and laser treatment. In addition to retinal lasers works with excimer lasers to perform excimer surgery.
