For whom laser correction suits?

Excimer laser is used for the correction of nearsightedness, farsightedness and astigmatism (refractive error).
This method suits almost everyone who has problems with the use of glasses or contact lens at work or leisure activity.
This method suits best for the correction of nearsightedness.

We recommend laser surgery for persons:

•  who are at least 18 years old

•  whose prescription for glasses or contact lens has been stable for at least one year

•  who are healthy


Excimer laser operation is not recommended:

•  during pregnancy (It is recommended not to give birth during one year after the operation,
  as hormonal changes can affect refraction of eyes.)

•  for persons under 18 years of age, because the development of the eye is not complete

•  for patients who suffer from cataract

•  for patients who suffer from keratoconus

•  for persons with a heart stimulator.
