Christin Mägi

Optometrist

I have been working in the field of optics for 16 years. I mastered my vocation at the Tallinn Health Care College in 2004 and have been working at Laservisioon Eye Clinic for over 10 years now. My personal experience is from October 2004, when I had my own laser operation done at the clinic. That helped me to understand the needs, worries and questions of the patience regarding the surgery significantly better.

Everyday work includes determining the visual functionality and visual correction, prescribing glasses and contact lenses. I am a member of the Estonian Optometrist Association since the day it was formed and have taken part of international conferences and trainings to develop my professional skills. I am also certified as an assistant occupational therapist by the National Institute for Health Development.
